In early January 2018 Facebook changed its algorithm in an effort to bring people back to FB.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg flat out said that "The pages managed by businesses are likely to reach far fewer people in 2018."
Then he followed up with "I expect the time people spend on Facebook and some measures of engagement will go down."
So what does that mean in layman's terms? Pretty much that your FB page is going turn into the equivalent of digital ghost town - unless you know how to side step the new algorithm changes.
Look at the stats below. The first is for an established fan page that started with zero fans, and now is about to top 500k.
The second example screen shot is from a BRAND NEW page that we put up just a few weeks ago.
What do they have in common? A POSITIVE engagement rate and a GROWING fan base unaffected by algorithm changes. And we didn't have to spend a dime on ads.
